Nydam dragon scabbard fitting

Scabbard fitting based on a find from Nydam (late fourth/fifth c).

Pierced from 2mm sheet bronze with cast head, central disc and suspension hooks for baldric.

Main plate measures 22.5cm long by 7cm wide. A bronze band wraps around the back of the scabbard, so can be made to measure for any scabbard wider than 7cm.

Top chape for a scabbard based on a find from Nydam Denmark. Stamped pattern with pierced bird heads from bronze sheet.

Faversham buckle

My version of the  Large 7th century Anglo Saxon buckle from Faversham in Kent, decorated with beaded and twisted wire and high relief engraving. Copy of original found in Kent (England) 9cm x 5cm.
