Huge animal head armring
Heavy animal headed Viking armring based on several finds from Gotland. Three strands of 6mm silver twisted together with 1mm twists between and engraved head terminals.
7cm diameter.
This is made for the wrist and due to its weight a good fit is necessary so please provide dimensions.
Large Viking neckring
Huge neck ring made from 8 strands of 3mm silver. The neck ring is about 2.3cm diameter at it's widest point and tapers down to about 1cm at the terminal plates. The closing plates are stamped with a triangle design. Internal diameter 16cm. This style of neckring was made up with a hollow core, so is not as heavy to wear as you may think, however they still weigh between 350 -400 gms.
Based on numerous finds throughout the Viking world.
Animal headed stamped Viking armring
Thick and heavy Viking armring with high stamped relief ,ending in granulated animal heads.
Typical style armring from the viking age based on a lost gold arm ring from the Hare island hoard co, Westmeath (viking gold and silver of Scotland page 32)
2.2cm at the widest point, internal diameter 6.5cm
