My version of the scabbard chapes from the St Ninians hoard from The Shetland Isles from the early 9th century.
Full silver chape with 4 x 3mm cabochon Garnets. Available in silver plated brass.
6cm x 6cm, mouth = 4.5cm x 1cm.
I suggest making a scabbard to fit the chape, don't buy the chape for a scabbard that's already made.
