Small type A Saxon strapend with simple "D" shaped buckle. Deeply engraved, trewhiddle animal design, with a black laquer inlay.
The original is silver, was found in Kent and dates to the 9th century.
This set fits a 1/2 inch belt. The strapend is roughly 37mm long.
Available in Bronze and Silver and as individual items or a set.
Come with rivets in the same metal.
