Copy of the viking age ring from Fishergate in York. The original is gold and thought to be 11th century
It's quite a thick, solid ring with very deeply engraved designs.
At the centre is a human face,
Either side of the face are two beasts with long eyes,
square snouts and long thin legs stretching forward.
The animals merge into a twisted plant design which
joins together at the base of the ring.
the ring is about 7mm wide at it's widest point. Only available in silver.
