A copy of a double plate brooch found in Chester. The brooch has a domed front piece, decorated with an engraved jellinge style beast. There is a separate backplate , attached with a rivet and counersunk in to the dome. This has a standard clasp and an attachment loop.
Several of this style of brooch have been found in the UK.
Only available in bronze (like the original). 33mm wide.
