A pair of sword pyramids from the Staffordshire hoard. These pyramids have different designs the faces (2 designs on 2 faces each). The garnet inlays from the original are replicated using red resin enamel. The square cut garnet in the top of each pyramid is a real garnet.
This pair of pyramids is unusual in having a square cut garnet. It's not a common thing for this period.
They are decorated with beaded granulation and are made from gold plated brass.
