A set of fittings from the Saxon lyre in the Prittlewell burial.
The set comprises of the two gilded brass escutcheons with central garnet cabochons. a pair if brass double strap junctions, a pair os ribbed silver strips and the leather tailpiece, with brass rivets and brass plate on reverse.
The base of the tail piece is undrilled and would have to be drilled out to match your lyre. The escutcheon posts are left quite long, so will have to be cut to match your wood.
Al;l rivets are supplied.
escutcheons are 22mm round
double strap junctions are 35mm long
Silver strips are 4cm long x 5mm wide
Tailpiece is 10.2cm long
