Copy of a large 15th century seal from Stratford upon Avon. It's from the British museum collection and they describe it as;
Circular seal-matrix of the Guild of St Cross, Stratford-on-Avon. Bronze, with traces of gilding. It has a hexagonal conical handle, the end broken. Under a canopy with five arches and traceried side-tabernacles the Crucifixion with the Virgin and St. John the Baptist carrying the Agnus Dei. Legend, within raised borders, with sprays between the words.
The seal is solid bronze with gilding. It is about 68mm high and the seal face is 57mm wide.
