An Ottonian brooch in high, domed relief. The brooch has several domed and enamelled discs. It is decorated with filigree and granulation, it is also set with 14 small pearls.
The brooch is thought to date from the 10th to early 11th century and is thought to have been found in Scotland but they are not certain.
7cm wide x 2cm high. Made from gold plated brass, synthetic pearls and resin enamel.
