Crucifix based on the Medieval 15th century "Clare cross" from Clare castle in Suffolk. Thought to have an association with Richard III. A heavyweight cross measuring 6cm x 3.5cm and 5mm thick. Engraved crucifiction scene with red enamel surround, blackened lettering on the arms of the cross and 4 round culturedr pearls. Original in the British museum collection.
Available in silver gilt and gilded brass. One of these crosses was reburied with Richard III in Leicester in 2015.
