Scabbard fitting based on a find from Kragehul (late fourth/fifth c).
Pierced from 2mm sheet bronze with cast head, central disc and suspension hooks for baldric.
Main plate measures 22.5cm long by 7cm wide. A bronze band wraps around the back of the scabbard, so can be made to measure for any scabbard wider than 7cm.
