Seax fitting based on finds from the Staffs hoard. The set is made in gilded brass with resin enamel to simulate the garnet cells of the original. One of the zoomorphic collars fits the handle at the blade end and the other four slot together to form the pommel with a small bar that slides through the pommel cap to secure the pieces together.
