Scabbard buckle from mound 17, Sutton Hoo. Very small and narrow buckle made from gilded brass and resin enamels, to simulate the garnet inlay from the original. This buckle would most likely have been part of the suspension system for the sword scabbard.
56mm long, 6mm wide, 5mm deep and the very small opening in the buckle hoop is 3mm.
