The Minster Lovell jewel is a late 9thc aestel (most likely) along the same lines as the Alfred jewel. The metal body is 10mm thick x 25mm wide and 35mm long and features a granulated and filigree decoration on the sides with a resin enamel top face. It is available in gilded brass with either a 4cm or 10cm bone pointer.
