The Minster Lovell jewel is a late 9thc aester (most likely) along similar lines to the Alfred jewel. This version is as close as i could get to the original. The metal body is 10mm thick and measures 25mm x 35mm. The body features a filigree and granulated design with a resin enamel top face. The piece is available in gilded brass with a 4cm bone pointer.
