A brooch based on a find from Uppakra in Sweden Showing both Thuringian and Frankish design. It's an unusual one but does have parallels with some grave finds in central Europe. The original is made from gilded silver and garnet.
My version is gilded bronze with a cabochon garnet eye and resin enamel to simulate the garnetsin the other areas. The back features a coiled steel pin.
