9th century cross, found in Gravesend UK.
The cross features a thick silver cross with chevron designs engraved in to the arms. The handmade lampwork glass cabochon bead (by Tillermans beads) is set within a gilded bronze, Filigree setting. The setting is surrounded by a mix of beaded and twisted wires and is held in place by 2 silver rivets.
64mm high x 55mm wide. The original is in the British museum collection.
