A copy of the scabbard pyramid found at Sandy Borg in Sweden.
The original is gilded silver with the remains of what was probably a glass ball on top.
The design feature 4 beast heads with triskel engraving between. The heads have had the gilding rubbed off. This was probably intentionally, as it highlights the design and shows the niello.
My copy is silver plated brass with gilding. I have also rubbed the gilding off the heads and use a fake niello.
