A copy of one of the pair of 9th century, quatrefoil brooches from the Galloway hoard.
The original is made from a bronze backplate and pin, with an engraved silver sheet folded round the backplate and rivetted on with silver rivets.
This brooch is available as original and also completely in bronze with the front sheet and rivets silver plated.
The brooch measures 6cm across.
