My version of an Anglo-Saxon gold ring owned by Queen Æthelswith of Mercia, dated to c.870 AD, engraved animal possibly a lamb as the letters either side are A D (Agnus Dei, the lamb of god) animal aso has a stylised halo. Original is gold and in the British museum. The face of the ring measures 2cm.
