Fibula with a bow in the form of a hollow recumbent lion, the mane indicated by engraved lines; at the back is soldered a cylinder with three wires uniting in a bead and then forming the pin. Soldered to the front paws is the rectangular sheath, the top of which is decorated with two rows of waved wire separated by plain and beaded wires.
The brooch dates from around 500BCE. Original from Italy and in the British Museum.
9.3cm long x 5cm high. Available in silver plated brass or gold plated brass.
